Project Pride to host fall clean up event

Thu, Oct 18th 2018 12:30 pm
For the second year in a row, Project Pride of North Tonawanda has beautified the community, by filling the planters along Webster and Oliver streets. Now that summer is officially over, it is time to prepare the community for the winter months ahead.
Project Pride of North Tonawanda will host a fall clean up event at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27. The day will consist of sweeping sidewalks, picking up litter and cleaning out the planters along Oliver and Webster streets. Volunteers should meet in front of Sherwood Florist, located at 458 Oliver St. Limited supplies will be provided; bring a pair of gloves and a towel.
Volunteers are a critical component to long-term success, and all are welcome to attend this clean up event.
