Bergholz Fire Co. chowder sale

The Bergholz Fire Co. and Ladies Auxiliary will hold its monthly chowder and baked goods sale at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13 at the firehall on Niagara Road in the hamlet of Bergholz. Chowder will be available by bulk or by the bowl. Current pricing is $4 per quart or $16 per gallon with your own container. A bowl is $1.50. For those in need of a plastic container for bulk, the cost is an additional 50 cents. For those who drop off their container earlier, the firehall will have it filled and ready when you come at 11 a.m. Donations of baked goods are always accepted and appreciated. Proceeds will go to benefit the firehall's equipment fund.
