Tonawanda Aglow International speaker

Tonawanda Aglow International is hosting a public speaker at its monthly breakfast. Dr. Helen E. Ekeh will speak at 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 13, at the Wheatfield Community and Senior Center, 2790 Church Road. The breakfast is $10 and catered by Scirati's.
Ekeh is an ordained minister of the gospel and has been in the ministry for more than 30 years. She was a University Professor of Public Health Education for many years in both her home country of Nigeria and the United States.
Ekeh is a Bible scholar and teacher who is gifted with the ability to bring the word alive to her audience. She is well known for the ministry of prayer and intercession and has been one of the watchmen on the wall for this region since her arrival to Buffalo 22 years ago. She was an active member of Women Aglow International, where she served as the vice president of the Grand Island chapter for three years. In addition to her ministry here, the Lord has called her to missions in Israel, Ethiopia and her home country of Nigeria. She and her family are residents of Amherst.
