Tortorice anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Samuel R. Tortorice of Grand Island celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at Salvatore's Italian Garden. They are planning a European river cruise in 2019.
Sam Tortorice and the former Nina A. Insana were married at St. Anthony's of Padua R.C. Church in Buffalo on Aug. 10, 1968. An Army veteran of Vietnam, Sam retired from Berenson Corp. in 2008. Nina taught at area schools on military bases in Kentucky and Georgia. She retired, as a preschool teacher, from Jack & Jill Nursery on Grand Island in 1995.
They have two daughters and three grandchildren.
