Northgate honors employee for years of service

The McGuire Group's Northgate Health Care Facility in North Tonawanda announced that Rukhsana Mahmood of North Tonawanda is being recognized for five years of service with the company.
As a certified nursing assistant and hospitality aide, Mahmood is responsible for providing hands-on care to the residents including assisting them with all activities of daily living. She also meets their needs when call lights are on, tidies up their rooms, delivers supplies to their rooms and spends time one-on-one with them doing special activities such as painting nails and more.
She resides with her husband Ajmal and has four children: Saima Akhtar of Virginia; Bilal of Albany; Imran of San Diego; and Rizwan of Chicago.
Northgate Health Care Facility provides 24-hour skilled nursing care, subacute and outpatient rehabilitation, hospice care, specialized memory care and respite/short-term services. The facility continuously receives five-star ratings from the federal government and is among a short list of facilities that finished in the first quintile of New York state's quality benchmarking pool for five out of five years.
