Leading all-electric indoor kart racing and entertainment destination partners with New York National Guard youth program to offer military children race at half-price
RPM Raceway, "America's ultimate all-electric indoor karting and entertainment destination," announced that, in recognition of April being designated as the Month of the Military Child by the Department of Defense Education Activity, it has partnered with the New York National Guard Youth Program to raise awareness and support for the role children play in the Armed Forces community. Specifically, throughout the entire month of April, children between the ages of 6-18 who present a valid military I.D. at any of the five RPM Raceway locations in Jersey City, Farmingdale, Buffalo, Syracuse and Rochester, will receive a 50 percent discount off one race.
From deployments to new schools, military children are faced with unique challenges that ordinary youth their age never experience. In an effort to recognize the hard work - and applaud - the courage of military children, the Department of Defense deemed April as the Month of the Military Child. It is a time to honor military youth for the role they play in contributing to the strength of the Army family. The month also reaffirms the Army's commitment to ensuring excellence in schools, childcare and youth services, as well as providing a strong supportive environment where children can thrive.
"We are proud to partner with the New York National Guard Family Programs to support their efforts surrounding the Month of the Military Child," said Karen Davis-Farage, president and co-owner, RPM Raceway. "As a family-run business and a strong military supporter, we are very excited to host the children of these brave men and women and give them a thrilling and memorable racing experience. We hope many will come out to race throughout the month of April and look forward to working with this organization to support all they do to strengthen military families."
From weekend warriors seeking a quick thrill to determined racers looking to become the next Dale or Danica, RPM Raceway was created for racers of all levels. Owned and operated by husband and wife team, Eyal Farage and Karen Davis-Farage, RPM Raceway believes anyone can be a racer and that "Every Champion Starts in a Kart."
Since its inception, RPM Raceway's giveback charter, CAReS (cancer, Alzheimer's, recovery and thoSe in need), has contributed more than $500,000 to a variety of community causes and will continue to do so as philanthropy is one of the core values of the company.
