Mount St. Mary's Hospital will hold its annual reverse draw fundraiser on Wednesday, Feb. 28, at The Como Restaurant, 2220 Pine Avenue Niagara Falls. The event is the continuation of an event that, for many years, was conducted by the Temple Beth Israel. In recent years, the leadership of the temple bestowed the fundraiser to Mount St. Mary's.
This year's event is co-sponsored by the Mount St. Mary's Hospital Foundation, St. Francis Guild Auxiliary and board of associates. The evening will begin at 6 p.m. with the program at 7 p.m. and a full Como family-style dinner to follow. Proceeds from the fundraiser will be dedicated to providing new furniture for patient rooms.
This year, Mount St. Mary's is honoring the Lewiston/Niagara-on-the-Lake Rotary Club, Robert Burns of Tim Hortons and Wendy and Curt Stuart of Stuart Sports.
Anthony Eugeni of Woods Oviatt Gilman is leading the event along with co-chairs Jerald I. Wolfgang - the original founder of the event when it was conducted by Temple Beth Israel - Mary Ricciardi - representing the St. Francis Guild - and Anthony Ricco of Cecconi Chrysler - representing the board of associates.
Tickets are $50 each. Only 300 will be sold. For tickets and more information, call the Mount St. Mary's Hospital Foundation at 716-298-2143. Contributions to the foundation are tax-deductible.
