'Taste and Paint' birds in Appleton

The next "Taste and Paint" workshop will be held at The Winery at Marjim Manor at 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 18. For $45, participants receive all the materials, refreshments and a glass of wine (for those over 21).
Teri Seddon will instruct. In about two hours, she will take the participants from blank canvas to finished artwork. This class will be repeated at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 13. Future classes at Marjim Manor will be hibiscus flowers on April 15 (1 p.m.) or May 8 (6:30 p.m.); peacock feathers on June 10 (1 p.m.) or July 10 (6:30 p.m.); pond scene on Aug. 19 (1 p.m.) or Sept. 11 (6:30 p.m.); and apples on the tree Oct. 14 (1 p.m.) Nov. 13 (6:30 p.m.). Purchase two or more classes and save $5 per class.
"Taste and Paint" classes are also available as private events for groups of six or more. Guests pick the day, the time and the picture. Organizers have more than two-dozen pictures painted over the years.
