Embody Health and Wellness Studio is expanding on the renovated third floor of the Red Brick Municipal Building in the Village of Lewiston. The studio offers a wide range of fitness and yoga classes, as well as personal training and nutritional coaching.
A free monthly forum, special events and workshops designed to offer lifestyle-based resources, tools and information are also featured, further supporting individuals in their wellness journeys.
"We are introducing our 2018 theme: Embody It! Move. Nourish. Mindset. Lifestyle," said Ami Patrick, studio owner, personal trainer, group fitness instructor and wellness coach. "This yearlong campaign is all about exploring the foundation of self-care, supporting our clients in their fitness, nutrition and motivation to encourage connection and confidence in body and mind, releasing all-or-nothing, diet mentality thinking. Embracing the journey and the process as a community! We are excited to be offering classes and fitness/yoga training in a second room in the Red Brick beginning in February as well!"
The studio will present a "Mind-Body Reset" workshop from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20. This detox workshop will offer a comprehensive approach to reigniting health intentions for the new year, releasing habits no longer serving and re-engaging those that do.
"We will be sharing a three-part event, offering tools, resources and strategies to focus on a strong mindset, cleansing the mind from negative self-talk and sabotaging behaviors," Patrick said. "In addition, nutrition will be highlighted, where participants will learn what targeted foods to crowd in to support the body's own natural detoxifications systems. And finally, we will highlight specific yoga poses to promote healing of the body, healthy liver and digestive functions, and mental clarity for restoration. A full mind, body, spirit approach!"
Interested individuals can register online for this event. Space is limited. There is a fee.
Those interested can contact Patrick at 716-523-9965 or [email protected] for more information.
