Tax bills in the mail

Grand Island taxpayers will receive their school tax bills in the mail this week courtesy a group of volunteers who stuffed the envelopes for the town mailing Tuesday. Town Clerk Pattie Frentzel thanked a group of volunteers from the Golden Age Center, organized by Nonnie Carroll, who do the manual labor twice a year, for the school tax bills and the town/county bills.
