The Oliver Street Merchants Association will host April's cash mob from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, at the Rainbow Roller Rink, 101 Oliver St., North Tonawanda.
Cash mobs are a grassroots effort to bring a large group of people to a business on a set date and time to make a positive impact on local merchants.
This month's cash mob will feature an '80s-themed skating party. This event will be family-friendly. Attendees are encouraged to wear their best '80s costumes. The rink will offer special prices at this event, such as $5 admission, which includes a skate rental. It will also offer food and drink specials. This event is free for nonskaters. There will also be raffles on site to support the Oliver Street Merchants.
