The St. Francis Guild of Mount St. Mary's Hospital will hold its 36th annual Pink Elephant Luncheon and Auction Saturday, Oct. 22, at the Niagara Falls Country Club, 505 Mountain View Drive, Lewiston.

An array of gifts will be displayed beginning at 10:30 a.m., followed by the luncheon at noon. Tickets are $40 per person.

Proceeds raised from this year's event will be dedicated to provide a new labor and delivery suit in the Center for Women, and a 3D mammography unit to enhance comprehensive services provided by the Mount St. Mary's Hospital Breast Care Center.

Event co-chairs are area residents Rosemary Dann, Lori Manera and Lorenza Pusateri.

"This is our 36th year and we want it be an event to remember," said Dann, the guild treasurer. "Everyone has done a great job in getting some really different gifts that we know people will enjoy. The support from local businesses and our sponsors has been tremendous. We thank them all."

Organizers are still accepting donations of gift items and certificates. Anyone wishing to make a donation can call 716-298-2144.

For ticket information, call the volunteer office at 716-298-2145 or stop by the hospital gift shop in the main lobby.
