Mr. and Mrs. William Maggio of Buffalo have been selected as chair couple of Hospice Buffalo's 16th annual Harvest Fest, a celebration of hospice, friends and family. The theme for this year's gala is "A Season of Change." The event will be held Friday, Oct. 21, at the Hyatt Regency Buffalo.

Linda and Bill are engaged in a number of social, charitable and community organizations. "We are very honored to be a part of Hospice and the Harvest Fest," she said. "Hospice seems to touch everyone's lives in some aspect, including ours, and we are grateful that we can give back. We look forward to seeing everyone on Oct. 21 for a fun night of celebration>

Linda volunteers for several not-for-profit organizations, including Hospice, and is a marketing consultant for a variety of Buffalo start-ups and established businesses. Her previous employers include AT&T, Kellogg's and Pfizer. Bill is principal at Lorraine Capital LLC and the CEO and president of Immco Diagnostics Inc. He serves on several boards throughout Western New York and is currently chairman for 43North.

"We are thrilled about the new venue at Hyatt Regency and looking forward to a fantastic evening," Bill said. "There will be an excellent selection of dinner wine donated by Gallo Family Vineyards, fabulous live auction items, including a trip to New York City, a chef's table at Oliver's Restaurant and a weekend in Ellicottville."

The Harvest Fest gala is presented by Great Lakes Health System of WNY (ECMC and Kaleida Health). Corporate tables of 10 start at $2,800, while individual tickets are $200 each. For auction donations, reservations or sponsorship information, visit www.HospiceHarvestFest.com or call the Hospice Foundation at 716-686-8090.

The Harvest Festival will benefit the many programs and services of Hospice Buffalo, one of the nation's largest hospice and palliative care, nonprofit organizations.
