Russell J. Salvatore and Diane English honored for extraordinary contributions

The Buffalo History Museum announces its fourth annual "Giants of Buffalo" program. Local hospitality sage Russell Salvatore and award-winning television and film writer/producer Diane English will be feted at the M&T "Third Fridays" event this spring.

On Friday, April 15, at "Giants of Buffalo: Hospitality," Russell J. Salvatore will be honored for civic leadership through hospitality and philanthropy.

On Friday, May 20, at "Giants of Buffalo: Television & Film," Emmy, Peabody, Golden Globe and Writers Guild award-winner writer and English will be honored.

A 5:30 p.m. reception includes a cash bar, hors d'oeuvres and music in the state court. The program begins at 7 p.m. in the Buffalo History Museum auditorium, One Museum Court, Buffalo.

Tickets are $10 for Buffalo History Museum members and $20 for the general public. Advance tickets will go on sale at the museum and online at www.buffalohistory.org (March 16 for hospitality and April 15 for television and film). The general public may call 716-873-9644, ext. 320, or, contact Megan at [email protected].
