In this season of giving, NOCO Express customers and employees donated $13,000 to support The Salvation Army of Buffalo. Throughout the month of November, paper kettles were sold for $1 each at all NOCO Express' 35 locations to benefit The Salvation Army. NOCO Express on Grand Island is located at 1898 Whitehaven Road at the intersection with Grand Island Boulevard.

"Our in-store campaign to support The Salvation Army was a success as customers generously gave to support those most in need right here in Western New York," said Jim DeFilippis, vice president and general manager, NOCO Express. "Thank you to our customers and associates who embraced the giving spirit of the season to help their neighbors."

"The Salvation Army is blessed to have partners in the community such as NOCO, and their customers, helping us to 'Do The Most Good' in our community," said Maj. Thomas Applin, executive director, The Salvation Army Erie County. "This donation will go a long way in providing the programs, support, and tools needed by our clients as they work toward self-sufficiency."

The Salvation Army's commitment to putting people first is the driving force behind its mission. Locally, The Salvation Army in Buffalo exists to offer hope for a better life by meeting basic human needs.
