Additionally, the chamber drew one ballot at random from all of the entries to receive a $35 Niagara River Region gift certificate. Colleen Robins of Niagara Falls was the lucky winner.
Business owners were asked to enter their window and/or tree in the contest for the public to vote on them. Ballots were in the Christmas Walk sections (The Sentinel and Niagara Gazette).
The contest gave those who entered an opportunity to create beautiful and creative displays to enhance the streetscapes just in time for the holiday season.
"Visitors often remark how beautiful the River Region storefronts are decorated, and we are proud of all who entered," Chamber of Commerce President Jennifer Pauly said.
Complete Senior Care, located in Niagara Falls, is a member of the Chamber of Commerce. It once again partnered with Allstate Mastantuono Agency, which graciously allowed CSC to decorate the window and tree. Dorothy Gallagher of Complete Senior Care decorated both spots.
Additional participants who went above and beyond in making sure their business and/or tree were decorated included 700 Center Street Bistro & Café, Apple Granny Restaurant, Coldwell Banker Integrity Real Estate, Coppins Service Center, Dr. Kevin D. Komm - Gary Optical Lewiston Vision Center, Hunt Real Estate, Dory Trading Post and The Country Doctor.
