Traffic pattern changes in Falls

Fri, Sep 11th 2015 11:15 pm

Traffic pattern changes started Friday on the Robert Moses State Parkway in the City of Niagara Falls, Niagara County, the state Department of Transportation announced recently.

These changes are part of the project to construct the Riverway and a roundabout at the entrance to Niagara Falls State Park.

Traffic to Niagara Falls State Park has been shifted from the current entrance onto the newly constructed Riverway, and both lanes of traffic on the roundabout from the Robert Moses Parkway northbound to John B. Daly Boulevard and Buffalo Avenue have been opened to traffic.

Motorists are reminded that the project remains under construction and the area will remain an active work zone. Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone.
