Have you ever wanted to be an amusement ride operator? Do you enjoy working with children? The Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum invites you to become a volunteer ride operator.

Several shifts need to be filled, so the time can fit into your schedule.

Volunteers for the museum are always treasured, and become a part of a family of people who share a love for their community. If operating a ride is not your interest, the museum has many other volunteer opportunities, including admission greeters, event helpers and tour guides.

The Kiddieland Testing Park will open from noon- 4 p.m. Memorial Day weekend (Saturday through Monday). After the weekend, it will be open Wednesday through Sunday when the museum is open.

Kiddieland includes the Allan Herschell wet boat ride, car and fire truck ride, pony cart ride and helicopter.

Current museum hours are noon to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. Admission to the museum includes admission to Kiddieland on days when it is open. Call the museum at 716-693-1885 or visit www.carrouselmuseum.org for additional details.
