Excavation and site preparation work are well underway for the new Golisano Center for Community Health at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. The innovative center is supported by a $3.5 million gift from businessman and philanthropist Tom Golisano and will provide comprehensive integrated health care services to adults with special needs, including intellectual and developmental disabilities, and to their families.
The center will be located adjacent to the ER1 Emergency Department and Heart Center of Niagara on 10th Street between Walnut and Ferry avenues. It is scheduled for completion in 2016.
The general contractor is Telco Construction Inc.
