Assemblyman John Ceretto and the Western New York legislative delegation met Monday with Renae Kimble, the program coordinator for the Cancer Services Program of Niagara County. This organization helps provide life-saving services for the 100,000-plus New Yorkers who are diagnosed with cancer in New York every year (including diagnostic services, consultations and treatments from health care providers).

Ceretto expressed his gratitude for the role the Cancer Services Program of Niagara County provides to those who are suffering with this disease.

"Cancer is a devastating diagnosis for anyone to receive," he said. "The Cancer Services Program of Niagara County makes sure that people do not have to battle cancer alone, and that they come out happy, healthy and stronger than they were before.

"It is important that we make sure this organization has the resources it needs to continue its mission. I am thankful for the medical services and emotional support they provide, and am always happy to assist them in any way I can."

Kimble is a former Niagara County lawmaker.
