The annual Wildlife Festival returned to the New York Power Authority's Power Vista, the visitors center for its Niagara Power Project, on Sept. 27 and 28. The event drew crowds of more than 18,000 people.

Paul Schnell, from the Institute for Environmental Learning, who has participated in the festival since it began in 1985, appeared for the last time at the festival along with Liberty the Bald Eagle. He received an award of appreciation from Teresa Martinez, NYPA community affairs manager, on behalf of the Power Authority (pictured).
