Students and staff at the Niagara Career and Technical Education Center decided to make the holidays brighter for those who are less fortunate. Breaking the center's all time record, they donated more than $500 worth of canned goods to the Love and Soul Food Pantry in Niagara Falls. The most canned goods were brought in by Bob Ihle's culinary arts students.

"Everyone at the center was really happy to take part in this," said Ihle. "It was a great holiday effort." Shown are Jessica Mock (Wilson), Felicia Gane (North Tonawanda), Kodie Engel (Niagara-Wheatfield) and Josh Baptiste (Niagara-Wheatfield).
