The legendary Lennon Sisters, of Lawrence Welk fame, recently performed to a sold-out audience at The Historic Riviera Theater in North Tonawanda. Following the show, the siblings met audience members Eva (Jonsson) Nicklas and Kathleen (Jonsson) Godwin, who, along with their younger sister, Silva, sang together professionally as a group in the 1960s and '70s. The sister acts teamed up to sing some spontaneous three-part harmony in the lobby, much to the delight of those waiting for an autograph.

"That moment was 50 years in the making," Godwin said. "A ticket to the show: $35; singing with the Lennon Sisters: priceless!" (photos by Sandy Hays-Mies)
