On Tuesday, Aug. 28, St. Peter R.C. Church in Lewiston held its "Blessing of the School" along with a family picnic. Families were asked to gather on the front lawn of the rectory where Father Michael Zuffoletto began the school year with a family blessing. Principal Maureen Ingham greeted all the families gathered. A family picnic under the direction of Libby Broderick and Gretchen Broderick followed and new families were introduced. Families were treated to "Grilling with Grandpas" where student's grandfathers grilled hot dogs and hamburgers for everyone in attendance.

St. Peter R.C. School has openings for students in pre-K through grade 8. Its school motto is "It Takes A Village" to educate children. Pictured is Zuffoletto blessing the school's families.
