PubFest, one of the Village of Lewiston's first summer events this year, raised $3,600 for local agencies.

The event was organized by the Lewiston Village Pub & Restaurant. At the Aug. 20 Village of Lewiston Board meeting, Pub proprietor Ken Scibetta (pictured, center) presented a $1,200 check to trustees (from left) Nick Conde, Bruce Sutherland, Vic Eydt, Dennis Brochey and Mayor Terry Collesano.

Scibetta also presented a $1,200 check to the Lewiston Police Department and LPD Chief Chris Salada (second picture, right); and a third $1,200 check to Lewiston Volunteer Fire Co. No. 1 and Les Myers (third photo).

PubFest's main beneficiary was the Variety Kids Telethon. The event netted more than $32,000 for that organization.

Held June 15 to 17, PubFest featured 13 local bands, an assortment of food vendors, a classic car show, amusement rides and games, a kids zone, pony rides, a beer tent and one of this year's largest fireworks displays. (photos by Joshua Maloni)
