Every fourth Thursday of the Month

The Buffalo Society of Artists (BSA) invites art enthusiasts, creatives and the community at large to join its monthly social event at Beebe's at the Hunt Gallery, located at 403 Main St., Buffalo. The first social of 2024 will take place from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22.

A press release stated, “Established in 1891, the Buffalo Society of Artists is a thriving community of 300-plus members. As one of the oldest continually operating arts organizations in the country, the BSA started with the mission to promote and expand awareness of Western New York artists – a mission they continue to embrace today.”

In 2022, the BSA partnered with Peter Hunt Real Estate to open the Hunt Gallery.

The press release noted, “This partnership has played a vital role in fostering creativity and appreciation for the arts. Now, with an office located in the same building, the BSA will expand their scope to the newly established Beebe’s at the Gallery, which is a contemporary bar and private event space connected to Hunt Gallery.”

Buffalo Society of Artists Community Engagement Director Natalie Brown said, “The BSA staff and board are thrilled to work with Christina Buscarino, event manager at Hunt Gallery and Beebe’s, to amplify our shared interest in supporting artists and connecting the creative communities in Buffalo.”

These monthly gatherings are designed to cultivate connections among BSA members, non-members, and anyone interested in the arts community of Buffalo.

A cash bar from Beebe’s will be available for attendees. Casa di Pizza, located just a few blocks away, will provide a select amount of complimentary pizza and wings.

The press release added, “This social event offers a unique opportunity to mingle with fellow creatives in a relaxed and casual setting. Attendees are encouraged to inquire about the exciting happenings at the Buffalo Society of Artists, Beebe's, Hunt Gallery, and discover the diverse array of activities and initiatives within the local art community.”

Brown said, "There's no admission price to attend this event, and all are welcome to join us for an evening of art, conversation and camaraderie.”
