Community concert series brings holiday favorites to M&T’s Fountain Plaza branch

M&T Bank’s annual “Holiday Music Under the Dome” series will once again bring joyful music and festive celebrations to the bank’s Fountain Plaza branch at 575 Main St., in downtown Buffalo. The community is invited to visit M&T’s prominent and decorated downtown branch – commonly called the “gold dome” – for holiday performances from Saturday, Dec. 9, through Friday, Dec. 15.

The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra (BPO) officially kicks off the series with a special performance of holiday classics at 1 p.m. Local musical groups and choirs will perform every weekday at noon for the remainder of the week. Each year, the series offers a platform for the BPO and local student musicians to share their talents with the community.

The concerts are free and open to the public.

“The ‘Holiday Music Under the Dome’ series allows us to bring people together, celebrate the season, and uplift our neighbors through music and joy. It’s a simple way we can help make a difference and strengthen our community in downtown Buffalo,” said Eric Feldstein, M&T Bank regional president for Western New York. “This lunchtime concert series is where caring meets celebration – we hope you’ll join us at our Fountain Plaza branch this holiday season.”
