The local history department at the Niagara Falls Public Library will continue its “Monday Evening Talk Series,” featuring speakers and institutions across Niagara Falls. These talks will be held at the Niagara Falls Public Library, LaSalle Branch, and are sponsored by the Friends of the Niagara Falls Public Library.
The talks will run from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Nov. 13 and Dec. 4. Organizers said the former “will take a close look at the remarkable individuals in Niagara Falls who operated the Underground Railroad”; and the latter “will focus on Armenian heritage in the Niagara Falls area.”

A press release noted the Niagara Falls Public Library is the central Library of the NIOGA Library System, serving all member libraries in Niagara, Orleans and Genesee counties.
