ASI reschedules Spark Awards

In light of the current crisis surrounding COVID-19, the health and safety of Arts Services Initiative’s (ASI) patrons, employees and community are – as always – the organization’s highest priority. ASI has been closely monitoring updates and information issued by local, state and federal governing bodies and, as a result, has decided to reschedule the seventh annual Spark Awards, originally planned for Wednesday, May 13.

The event is now slated to be held from 6-9 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16, at the Forbes Theatre at 500 Pearl St. Previously purchased tickets will be honored for this new date, and in addition to the regular in-person celebration, ASI is exploring options to add a virtual experience for those who may still be nervous about gathering in person.

Of course, this rescheduling and planning assumes social gatherings are determined safe and permissible at that later date. ASI will continue to reassess and monitor status updates on COVID-19.
