Assemblyman Angelo Morinello joined third-graders from Niagara Street Elementary School to kick of his second annual “Valentines for Seniors.” This year’s program already features over 10 local public and private elementary schools in the assemblyman's district making valentines for seniors in the community who are in assisted living facilities, senior center participants or Meals on Wheels clients.

Morinello’s camp said, “Many seniors are widowed or living alone, and finding a special way to show some extra love on Valentine's Day makes a big difference.”

“This is one of my favorite events of the year, and I am so happy to begin the second year of this program,” he said. “Spending time with these children and seeing the joy on their faces, as well as knowing the happiness these cards will bring to seniors in our community, is truly a great feeling. I look forward to continuing this program for years to come.”
