At 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, the idea of compassionate business will be explored at a mini-conference at Historic Holy Trinity (1419 Falls St., Niagara Falls). All members of the community are welcome to this free event, which will include refreshments.

Organizers said, “Compassion can contribute to business success, build healthier workplaces, and improve the customer experience. Learn how compassion makes business sense. Then join with others to envision how business can help create a more compassionate community.”

Presented by the Niagara County Coalition for Services to the Homeless to continue the momentum of its annual conference, the Compassionate Niagara committee is hosting a series of mini-conferences throughout the year to focus in on how different sectors can work together to make the community a compassionate one.

The compassionate business mini-conference is the fourth in the series of seven, and will be followed by a compassionate faith communities session at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, at Bacon Memorial Presbyterian Church.

Advanced registration is requested. For more information, including registration, visit www.niagara.edu/compassion.
