Join the Niagara County Historical Society History Center at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, for a look at the three International bridges from Niagara County to Canada. Ray Wigle will show images of the past and present spans connecting the two countries over the years.

There have been new bridges and major changes to existing bridges in the past 170 years. Learn about the first suspension bridge by the same engineer who later designed the Brooklyn Bridge.

Wigle is the director of the Erie Canal Discovery Center. He earned his M.A. at SUNY Buffalo and has worked for other nonprofits, including Old Fort Niagara, in his career.

The History Center is located at 215 Niagara St., Lockport. This program is free and open to the public. For more information, call the History Center at 716-434-7433.
