Elderwood supports LCA 'Blue Monday' series

Lewiston Council on the Arts staffers Eva Nicklas and Tim Henderson recently presented Elderwood at Wheatfield Community Relations Coordinator Stacey Zahno and Elderwood Residencies Property Manager Tammy Ooft with an appreciation plaque for their generous sponsorship of the 2019 “Blue Monday” concert series.

Each event attracted audiences of 400 to 600 people.

The LCA said, “The concerts are free and provide an accessible, safe outing where seniors and families can come to socialize and enjoy a lovely evening in the park. These events contribute to the uniquely vibrant community that residents of Lewiston enjoy, and that visitors travel to experience.”

Nicklas noted, "We are grateful for Elderwood's generous sponsorship and for making it possible to share show off some of the best blues bands in WNY! Their contribution helps us to provide free, top-notch entertainment for the people of Lewiston, Western New York and Southern Ontario."
