The Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum is hosting its first gala event to benefit the museum’s efforts to develop an endowment fund. The Brass Ring Gala will be held from 6-10 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 15, at Michael's Landing in North Tonawanda.

Tickets to the event are $100 per person. Each ticket includes a one-year individual membership ($35 value), or couples who purchase two tickets can redeem a family membership ($55 value) to the museum.

The evening will include an open bar and catering stations from Salvatore's Hospitality. Saxman Slim will provide musical entertainment. The museum will present demonstrations on woodcarving and carousel horse restoration throughout the evening. There will be a silent auction with many items, including hotel stays, tickets to a Buffalo Sabres game, and many gift certificates and items from local businesses.

The gala will benefit the museum’s efforts to start an endowment fund. The Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum is in its 36th year of operation, and is looking for ways to achieve long-term sustainability.

Tickets for the gala can be purchased at https://www.carrouselmuseum.net/store/p39/Brass_Ring_Carrousel_Gala.html#/ or by calling the museum at 716-693-1885. Those who cannot attend the gala, but are still interested in supporting the endowment can mail checks to Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum, 180 Thompson St., North Tonawanda, NY 14120.
