The Niagara Falls Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution is collecting gift cards from Tim Hortons, Tops and Wegmans to be distributed to homeless veterans through the Homeless Veterans Resource Center in Buffalo.
Veterans Administration Volunteer Service Representative Melody Burow, left, is shown accepting more than $400 worth of gift cards from Kathy Janik of the deacons committee at First Presbyterian Church of Lewiston.
The money was raised from a “Strike Out Hunger” bowling activity held by the deacons at the Lewiston Event Center.
