NT Memorial Pool set to open for season

The North Tonawanda Department of Youth, Recreation and Parks will officially open the Memorial Pool at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 21. This year the department said it’s proud to announce both the Memorial Pool and Raindrop Spray Pool will be open additional hours from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday afternoons.   

The Memorial Pool will continue to be open from 1-4 p.m. and 6:30-8 p.m. Monday through Saturday for open swim. The Raindrop Pool will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 6-7:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Rates for open swim remain the same with a cost of 50 cents for NT children, $1 for NT adults and $2 for non-residents.  There is no cost for use of the Raindrop Spray Pool.  

In addition to open swim hours, adult lap swim will be available from 5:15-6:15 p.m. Monday-Friday, and water exercise classes will be held from 5:15-6:15 p.m. Tuesday and Thursdays. Two sessions of youth swim lessons will be offered for children ages 3-10. The first session will run from Monday, July 1, to Friday, July 26, (weekdays), while the second session taking place Monday, July 29, to Friday, Aug. 22, (weekdays).
