The Historical Association of Lewiston presents “A Cinderella Story, The Mystery of the Pan American Exposition Stamps” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, at the Lutheran Church of the Messiah Fellowship Hall, 915 Oneida St.

All the way from Houston, Rick Barrett will provide an enthusiastic presentation about his book, “Buffalo Cinderellas,” with “thrilling historic tales.”

An author and native local history buff, Barrett has collected stamps for 51 years. His writing talents have appeared in numerous publications over the years. Barrett's passion for his hometown of Buffalo lead him to combine two of his avid interests, and, after six years of extensive research, he self-published his labor of love. The result is “Buffalo Cinderellas,” an award-winning book that won medals at two literary competitions.

This community event is free and open to all. Refreshments will be served.
