Destination Niagara USA rolls out 'Ice Cream Appreciation Trail'

In honor of National Travel & Tourism Week, Destination Niagara USA introduced its “Ice Cream Appreciation Trail,” working alongside its Niagara County hospitality partners. All employees in the hospitality and tourism industry across Niagara County were invited to a enjoy a free frozen treat courtesy of Chilly Billy’s Ice Cream.

“Hospitality and tourism industry employees play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for visitors to Niagara Falls USA. To show our appreciation, Destination Niagara USA will be traveling across Niagara County this week with an ice cream truck as a way to thank these individuals for representing our region with energy, friendliness and a welcoming spirit,” the agency stated in a press release.

The “Ice Cream Appreciation Trail” was slated to visit the Aquarium of Niagara, Old Falls Street’s middle block, Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino, Cornerstone Ice Arena, Niagara Crossing Hotel, Niagara Jet Adventures, Wilson House Inn and Old Fort Niagara.

National Travel & Tourism Week is America's weeklong celebration of travel.

Destination Niagara USA said, “Travel matters in Niagara County – where tourism supported 16,242 jobs and generated over $708 million for our local economy in 2017.”
