As part of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, April 27, Mount St. Mary’s Hospital is hosting a drive-up drop-off site to help get unused and unwanted medications out of people’s homes.
The drop-off will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the hospital’s north entrance at 5300 Military Road, Lewiston. Unwanted and expired medications will be accepted, as well as syringes and needles. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.
