The North Tonawanda Botanical Garden Organization is sponsoring its fourth annual winter cleanup/work day from 9 a.m. until noon, on April 27, at the North Tonawanda Botanical Garden, 1825 Sweeney St.
The public is invited to help with winter cleanup and preparation for planting. On the same day, NTBGO will host a Chiavetta’s chicken dinner fundraiser from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Botanical Garden. Tickets are $12 and all proceeds go towards purchasing plant material and supplies for the Botanical Garden. To purchase tickets in advance, call 692-0237 or email [email protected]. Remaining tickets will be for sale on April 27.
This work day qualifies as community service hours for North Tonawanda High School and other organizations that require community service hours. Bring gloves and water. Contact [email protected] for any questions, or more information.
