Following the damage left by high winds across Western and Central New York overnight, AAA Western and Central New York is reminding its insurance customers that AAA is here to help.

Many people will wake up wondering if damage to their home or their car is covered under their current policies. AAA has insurance representatives for all members who need assistance.

AAA WCNY insurance customers who have suffered damage to their homes or vehicles can begin filing claims immediately.

After such a storm, the first order of business is to protect yourself and your family. The second is to call your insurance company.

For those who don’t have damage, this serves as a reminder to review their policies and discuss individual situations with insurance agents to make sure they have the right coverage to meet their needs.

As Upstate New York’s largest member services organization, AAA Western and Central New York provides more than 880,000 members with travel, insurance, financial and automotive-related services. Since its founding in 1902, AAA has been a leading advocate for the safety and security of all travelers. Visit AAA at www.AAA.com.
