Grand Island musician Carly Beth Hand to release new single

Musician and singer-songwriter Carly Beth Hand of Grand Island is releasing a new single and music video, “Sleepless Lullaby” on Thursday, Feb. 28.

“Sleepless Lullaby” is an upbeat, ethereal pop-dance track she wrote that is the song most often requested by her fans. While a college student in England, she began live-streaming herself playing the piano and singing on a Chinese app called Yinke, developing a loyal following that peaked with 110,000 viewers at once for a live performance, resulting in her becoming the top broadcaster out of millions on the app.

Now back home and graduated with from the University of Westminster, Carly Beth started live-streaming again, engaging over 710,000 viewers from her Western New York living room. A video of her singing and playing the guitar went viral, resulting in over 4.2 million views.

“Sleepless Lullaby” is the Grand Island High School graduates most frequently requested song.
