Parkway meeting on Tuesday

A Niagara Gorge Corridor Parkway Removal Project (Main Street to Findlay Drive) public information meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, at the Niagara Falls Train Station & Customhouse Interpretive Center, 825 Depot St. W.
The public is invited to join in and learn about upcoming construction associated with the reconstruction of Whirlpool and Third streets, as well as removal of the Niagara Scenic Parkway (former Robert Moses Parkway) between Main Street and Findlay Drive in Niagara Falls.
A presentation will be given on the scope of the project, anticipated detours and other measures, contacts during construction, and the project website.
Project sponsors include the New York State Department of Transportation, New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, USA Niagara Development Corp., the New York Power Authority and the City of Niagara Falls.
