Join Anchor Bar Niagara Falls and the Niagara Falls Community Development Department for the second annual Jingle Falls Street Hockey Tournament on Saturday, Dec. 1.
"We are excited to bring old school street hockey to Jingle Falls for a second year, and thank our new sponsor, Anchor Bar Niagara Falls, for joining the festivities," said Seth Piccirillo, director of Niagara Falls Community Development.
The rain-or-shine 3-on-3 tournament will take place at the Anchor Bar, 223 Rainbow Blvd. Check-in from 8-8:45 a.m. Pool play games are 9, 9:30, 10, 10:30, 11 and 11:30 a.m.; noon and 12:30 p.m. The semifinals begin at 1:30 p.m., while the finals and third-place game begin at 2:30 p.m.
The cost is $50 per team, due at check-in (check or cash accepted). Each team is guaranteed two games. Rosters can have three to six players and one goalie. Each game is 20 minutes long, with the top four teams in pool play advancing to the semifinals.
