Orleans/Niagara BOCES District Superintendent Dr. Clark Godshall recently received a check from New York State Sen. Robert Ortt for $50,000.
"We greatly appreciate the legislative and financial support from Sen. Ortt as evidence of our strong community involvement in the areas of economic development and continuing education towards building a well prepared and skilled workforce," he said.
Ortt secured the funding through this year's state budget, to purchase equipment for the two Orleans/Niagara BOCES' Workforce Training centers. The Niagara Falls Workforce Training Center opened this month and the Lockport Workforce Training Center will be opening at the beginning of the year.
