In memory and honor of the life of Niagara Falls' unofficial historian, Paul Gromosiak, Niagara Falls will be lit in "green" at 9:15 p.m. tonight.
While a dark falls would have pleased Paul greatly, green is the color that represents nature which Paul so loved. Darkening of the falls is reserved for one hour a year in recognition of the global Earth Hour initiative.
The City of Niagara Falls and Niagara Falls State Park thanks Paul for all his contributions to our community over these many years. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him
Special thanks to the Niagara Falls Illumination Board for its support of this special request.
