The New York State Department of Health and the Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) has approved the certificate of need (CON) request submitted by Mount St. Mary's Hospital for the expansion of its Clearview Treatment Services Program. Clearview is a confidential, inpatient rehabilitation program dedicated to the comprehensive care of people whose lives have been affected by drugs and/or alcohol.
The expansion will bring the total number of inpatient beds in the facility to 45.

Tucker, president and CEO of Mount St. Mary's. "This expansion and our investment in increasing services will help us save lives and serve more patients who are in need of these vital services."
Clearview now has 30 beds and provides services to treat opioid addition and other chemical dependency issues. It just recently completed a separate expansion that added new patient rooms and upgrades to other areas of its fourth floor hospital inpatient unit, including the dining room, lounge, gym and activity rooms, to create a more healing environment for patients and their families.
Work on the $345,000 expansion will begin immediately with the new beds to be available this summer.
