Village of Lewiston Democratic caucus scheduled for April 26

The Lewiston Democratic Committee announces a Democratic caucus to nominate candidates for the office of mayor and for two, four-year terms, as trustees for the Village of Lewiston will take place beginning at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 26. The caucus will be held in the Morgan Lewis Boardroom of the Red Brick Municipal Building, 145 N. Fourth St.
Only registered Democrats who reside in the Village of Lewiston are eligible to nominate and vote for candidates at the caucus. Candidates selected must reside in the Village of Lewiston.
The Village of Lewiston elections will take place on Tuesday, June 19.
Those wishing to nominate or vote at the caucus are asked to bring photo identification. Niagara County Democratic Chairman Nicholas Forster has appointed William Gallagher, a resident of the Village of Lewiston, as chairman of the caucus.
