Greater Niagara FCU is helping local children. During the month of March, members will collect donations by selling autism awareness puzzle piece. All proceeds stay local and benefit The Summit Center, whose mission is to help children and families with autism.
Pictured on the poster is Leo. He is a Greater Niagara FCU member and son of Greater Niagara FCU's CEO, Janelle Zasucha.
"When Leo was diagnosed as being autistic, it affected our entire family. The Summit Center has helped Leo in so many ways," Zasucha said.
The Summit Center, located in Getzville, helps children from all over Western New York.
Greater Niagara FCU is selling the puzzle pieces for a minimum donation of $1 until the end of March.
Jennifer Grier, marketing specialist at Greater Niagara FCU, said "We are very grateful to everyone who purchases a puzzle piece this month and encourage the community to stop in to one of our branches to donate."
