State Sen. Robert Ortt recently met with members of the Western New York Library Resource Council.
"Several different members of the library community wanted to communicate with him about what the library funding from the state does for our students," Orleans/Niagara BOCES librarian Lindsay Delaney said. "I was so honored that Sen. Ortt took the time to come out and speak with the library community. There was an excellent turnout of school librarians, public librarians, hospital librarians and Western New York Library Resource Council members. Sen. Ortt asked and answered questions, and engaged with participants about what we do as librarians."
